I’ve finally moved to the dark side..
So here it is, the new iMac complete with the FW800 connected MyBook storage disk and Spyder.
This last week has allowed some great opportunities to get organised for me, not least the arrival of a new iMac – I still cannot believe I couldn’t work out how to switch it on after unboxing it! Then there’s the lack of a default right-click, no forward delete key, no standard full screen browser, and to top it off it takes 13 (yes a whole 13) seconds LONGER to boot to logon screen than my old Vaio XP laptop it replaces!
It nearly went out of the window on day 1. Now I am used to it and have everything installed i am beginning to warm to it.
I even got around to creating a brush for my logo today in CS5 – amazingly easy when you know how!
