Cheshire Wedding Photographer at Owen House Wedding Barn

Another brilliant wedding at an awesome wedding venue in Cheshire. Owen House Wedding Barn is tucked away in North Cheshire and judging by the number of aircraft taking off is getting close to Manchester Airport so guaranteed to keep Uncle Bob and his camera busy for the afternoon.

This was my first time as a wedding photographer at Owen House Wedding Barn and I had high expectations after the rumour mill had sent me great reviews. Thankfully there were no Chinese whispers about the rumours and the venue delivered as promised. Mother Nature did her part with supplying incredible late May sunshine and the fantastic family run hosts and venue team took care of the rest.

Steve and Vic had requested a documentary approach for their wedding photography with no stiff poses and certainly none of that insane business of the wedding photographer yelling at people to move over here during the relaxed cocktail hour.

One of the best ideas for their wedding was to not hire a DJ and do it themselves! Sound and lighting was hired and then they shared it amongst the other guests! 3 songs per couple, no age limits! Brilliant idea, really added some fun and excitement to the dance floor and a little more reliable than leaving the photography to the guests.
